How becoming an agent works

Learn. help.
Grow.

New to insurance or already licensed? Start a conversation about the next step for you.

Introduce yourself

Start with an interest form.

Share your state, license status and goals. We’ll discuss the role, expectations, training, support and any costs before you decide to move forward.

Get ready

Complete your requirements.

Discuss the licensing, education, exams and carrier appointments needed for the products and states you want to serve. Complete the required steps before conducting licensed insurance activities.

Serve clients

Build relationships.

Learn to understand a client’s needs, explain coverage, help with applications and support policy reviews. Long-term relationships start with clear, accurate conversations.

Commission-based opportunity

Your work.
Your potential.

This is a commission-based agent opportunity. Earnings depend on eligible insurance business and the terms of your compensation agreement, rather than a guaranteed salary or hourly wage.

Discuss commission rates, when a policy becomes payable, renewals, any advances, expenses and possible chargebacks before joining. Income varies and is not guaranteed.

Our commission payment schedule

Three days a week.

MONMondayWEDWednesdayFRIFriday

Eligible commissions are paid on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A scheduled payday does not guarantee a payment on every date. Policy approval, commission eligibility, processing cutoffs, holidays and bank timing can affect when funds arrive.

Build a team

Grow as an agent.
Develop as a leader.

Interested in more than serving your own clients? Ask about the path to building and supporting a team.

Connect with future agents.

Introduce people who are interested in the insurance business. Give them a clear picture of the work, licensing steps and commission structure.

Help your team develop.

Support new agents as they learn products, prepare for client conversations and build consistent service habits. Team building includes mentorship and ongoing support.

Understand team compensation.

Ask whether your agreement offers compensation tied to eligible team production, and what qualifications apply. Recruiting someone alone does not guarantee earnings.
